H. Gregory, Sr. Began
his computer career in March of 1963 at the Boatman's National Bank.
During the Vietnam War, in March of 1966, he began working as a civilian
for the Department of Defense. In 1995, he retired as the senior project
leader of the Advanced Technology Directorate of the military's major
central systems design activity. He purchased his first business in
1988 which he sold to his employees in October of 1995 after his youngest
child received her MIS degree. He founded Gregory Computer Services,
Inc. (GCSI) in April of 1996. His work with the military provided him
with a unique opportunity to evaluate and implement emerging technologies.
This included the first widely-deployed production model Internet/Intranet
used by the military in major commands for standard systems. He was
the technical project leader for major systems still in use worldwide
by the military. His background includes a variety of computer hardware
and software, program languages, and networks. As President of GCSI,
he works with clients to integrate Information Technology into their
business processing.
